Back to the Roots is a visual novel for adults. The story is about a guy whose life has changed dramatically. Suddenly he became incredibly wealthy, and it changed his personality. The young man plunged into a life full of debauchery, spending money left and right without stopping, because of which he loses loved ones, friends and love. And he can realize that money can't buy happiness, so he decides that he needs to return to his native land and try to restore his former life, and the player will help him in this.

Gameplay is focused more on the narrative, namely on dialogs, but there are also a lot of third-party chips. For example, quests, mini-games, and level exploration.
