As time passed, the hero slowly began to realize the inevitability of loss - perhaps his soulmate was gone forever? And then one day, after making the hard decision to come to terms with it, Michael still retained the love for her that overwhelms the demigod's heart. This warm emotion the demigod decided to use as a source of strength for the sake of protecting others in his fight against the forces of evil. This went on for centuries, Michael followed his chosen path - to fight the dark forces and carried in his heart a spark of hope that did not fade after humility.
